IT Engineer | Network & Infrastructure Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, servers, printers, switches, routers, firewalls, access points, UPS systems, and other IT equipment.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches and routers, including VLANs, trunking, access ports, routing, and network connectivity.
- Manage and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls, including firewall policies, NAT, VPN, security profiles, and network access.
- Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and NAT environments.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, latency, packet loss, IP conflicts, and other network-related issues.
- Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file and print services, and user management.
- Create and manage Active Directory users, groups, computers, permissions, and organizational units.
- Support VMware virtual environments, including virtual machines, resource allocation, snapshots, networking, and basic virtualization troubleshooting.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365, including user accounts, licenses, Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and security settings.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, applications, drivers, and endpoint devices.
- Perform hardware diagnostics, component replacement, preventive maintenance, and IT equipment upgrades.
- Troubleshoot network and system issues using Ping, Tracert, Nslookup, Ipconfig, Wireshark, and network monitoring tools.
- Implement and maintain antivirus, endpoint security, backup, and system update procedures.
- Provide technical support to users and resolve Level 1, Level 2, and infrastructure-related incidents.
- Maintain IT asset inventories, network documentation, configuration records, and infrastructure diagrams.
- Monitor servers, network devices, and critical IT services to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Coordinate with internet service providers, hardware vendors, software vendors, and third-party support teams.
- Assist with network upgrades, infrastructure migrations, new office setups, server deployments, and IT projects.
- Ensure IT systems follow organizational security, backup, access-control, and operational requirements.
- Provide user training and technical guidance on hardware, software, Microsoft 365, networking, and cybersecurity best practices.
